Visual Inspirations has partnered with Brookfield Properties for nearly a decade to deliver Christmas experiences across its national portfolio of premium commercial assets.
In 2021, the program evolved through the introduction of Steel Poinsettias, a bold sculptural concept designed to create a more unified and adaptable festive identity across multiple sites and environments.

Creating a cohesive Christmas identity across a diverse national property portfolio
Brookfield required a Christmas program that could work across a wide variety of premium commercial environments, from expansive foyers and outdoor public spaces to more intimate lobby settings. The challenge was to deliver a concept that felt visually consistent across the portfolio while still adapting to the unique spatial and structural requirements of each site.
The 2021 refresh also needed to build on an established visual language, keeping the program recognisable while introducing a more contemporary and scalable design direction.
A modular sculptural concept designed for flexibility, consistency and long-term use
Visual Inspirations developed Steel Poinsettias as a modular decorative system built around electroplated stainless-steel poinsettia forms. Rather than approaching the installations as conventional Christmas decorations, the concept was designed as a collection of sculptural festive statements that could be configured across different spaces while maintaining a strong and cohesive visual identity.
This flexible approach allowed the program to evolve across Brookfield’s portfolio while supporting different site conditions, installation requirements and long-term asset value.
A national decorative framework tailored to multiple commercial environments
Key elements of the refreshed program included:
A long-term Christmas program with strong visual identity and lasting portfolio value
The 2021 refresh established a cohesive national decorative framework that could be adapted across Brookfield’s varied asset portfolio while maintaining a strong premium identity. The 12.5 metre Perth CBD installation has since become a recognised seasonal landmark, helping reinforce Brookfield’s position within the commercial property sector.
The modular system has also supported efficient annual reinstallation, long-term asset durability and consistent visual presentation across multiple sites. The sustained partnership of nearly a decade demonstrates delivering reliability, operational consistency and continued strategic alignment with a major institutional landlord.
A Christmas identity built to scale across a national portfolio
What began as a festive program evolved into a cohesive decorative framework that could adapt across multiple premium commercial environments while maintaining a strong and recognisable visual identity.
